Developed and delivered a CI/CD branch management automation suite for the mixxxdj/mixxx repository, focusing on improving release reliability and reducing manual intervention. The work centered on creating a GitHub Actions workflow using YAML to automatically synchronize feature and versioned branches with the main branch, ensuring consistent integration and traceability. Automated labeling was implemented to enhance branch visibility, while security best practices were followed by pinning workflow actions to specific commits, mitigating supply-chain risks. This approach streamlined the CI/CD process, reduced maintenance overhead, and provided a more predictable release pipeline, demonstrating skills in automation, CI/CD workflows, and secure version control.
