During a two-month period, Nelfan focused on backend and DevOps engineering across several Liquibase repositories, including liquibase-bigquery, liquibase-mongodb, and liquibase-test-harness. He upgraded build dependencies and enhanced CI/CD security using GitHub Actions and YAML, improving build reliability and test coverage. In Java, he refactored NoSQL item-to-document converters and expanded unit tests, strengthening database integration and migration workflows. Nelfan also improved SQL generation for Snowflake stored procedures in liquibase, ensuring accurate DROP statements. His work included a major refactor of the StressTestHelper, streamlining test architecture and reducing maintenance overhead, which collectively increased deployment accuracy and ongoing test reliability.
