Worked on the Houjio/HarmoniQ repository to enhance developer onboarding and lay the foundation for future energy-related features. Focused on improving documentation by updating the README, adding installation instructions, and providing contribution guidelines, all written in Markdown and reStructuredText. Refactored the installation process to use package-based management with development dependencies, streamlining setup for new contributors. Developed scaffolding for energy source modules, including initial hydro energy production calculations, and established utility functions and basic sanity tests in Python. The work emphasized maintainability and modularity, enabling faster feature delivery and easier onboarding for future contributors, with a focus on documentation, testing, and module development.
