The implementation included new routes, controllers, and models, consolidating search functionality into a single endpoint while also providing dedicated endpoints for flexibility and performance. Leveraged JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB with Mongoose to design a modular, RESTful API architecture that supports optional parameters and efficient querying. This work enhanced vehicle discovery relevance, reduced search times, and established a scalable foundation for future backend search enhancements.
