Over a two-month period, contributed to the onyx-dot-app/onyx repository by enhancing Helm chart ingress configuration to improve upgrade safety and security. Focused on implementing backward compatibility for ingress settings, introducing default values and conditional annotations to support TLS and Let’s Encrypt integration without disrupting existing deployments. Updated the Helm chart to version 0.3.0, adding detailed ingress annotations to clarify deployment processes. The work centered on DevOps practices, leveraging Kubernetes and Helm with extensive use of YAML for configuration management. No bugs were reported or fixed, reflecting a targeted approach to feature development and deployment reliability within the project.
