During November 2024, Ihsen Bouallegue developed a shift-based ZoomToCursor toggle for map interactions in the MaibornWolff/codecharta repository. This feature allowed users to control zoom behavior with the Shift key, enhancing navigation precision and aligning interactions with user expectations. Ihsen implemented the solution using TypeScript and JavaScript, focusing on front end development within the threeMapControls component.
