Worked on stabilizing macOS distribution for the qbittorrent/qBittorrent project by addressing a critical application launch crash. Automated the code signing and verification process within GitHub Actions CI, using Shell scripting to clear extended attributes, sign the application, and verify signatures before DMG packaging. This workflow ensured that releases were both secure and reproducible, directly reducing user-facing launch issues and support tickets. Focused on CI/CD and macOS development, the work improved the reliability of macOS releases by integrating robust code signing practices, resulting in a smoother user experience and more efficient release management for the repository’s maintainers and users.
