Worked on deployment automation for the UCF-ELLE/ELLE-Website-API repository, focusing on streamlining the development server’s deployment process. Updated the APScheduler package and introduced a GitHub Actions workflow, which automated previously manual deployment steps and improved the reliability and speed of development deployments. Leveraged Python for backend automation and YAML for workflow configuration, applying DevOps practices to enhance environment consistency. This work established a foundation for broader CI/CD improvements, enabling faster iteration for developers and reducing the risk of environment drift. The approach demonstrated practical skills in backend development, automation, and continuous integration within a modern API development context.
