Developed a policy mocking facility for the microsoft/mu_basecore repository by implementing the SetPolicy function within MockPolicyLibCommon. This addition enabled tests to mock policy configurations, allowing for more deterministic and scalable test coverage of policy-related scenarios. The work focused on expanding the test infrastructure, reducing risk associated with policy configuration changes, and supporting more robust validation of policy logic. Leveraging C++ development skills along with expertise in mocking and unit testing, the developer contributed targeted changes that improved the maintainability and reliability of the codebase. The feature was delivered over a one-month period and addressed a specific testing need.
