Worked on the sysdiglabs/charts repository to enhance deployment stability and security for network security features using Helm and Kubernetes. Addressed a deployment issue in the Shield Helm Chart by implementing conditional logic that enables the secure_light mode only when network security is active and the agent version is below 13.9.0, ensuring backward compatibility for older agents. Developed a semantic version validation helper in Helm templating to support version-based feature gating and minimize misconfigurations. This approach improved reliability and clarity in deployment behavior across agent versions, reducing risk and supporting more robust DevOps workflows for network security deployments.
