Worked on the skupperproject/skupper repository to deliver a targeted improvement focused on backend observability. Developed and implemented Controller Log Standardization using Go, aligning the order of 'namespace' and 'name' attributes across all controller logs. This change enhanced log readability and streamlined debugging and monitoring processes, supporting faster incident response for site recovery and more reliable connector management. The approach emphasized minimal surface area, ensuring compatibility with existing observability tooling and documentation. No additional bugs were addressed during this period, with all efforts concentrated on producing a production-ready, well-documented feature that aligns with established logging standards and backend development practices.
