Desire Add developed the Responsive Category Image Display feature for the plentymarkets/plentyshop-pwa repository, focusing on enhancing the visual consistency of category images across devices. By removing the fixed height constraint and introducing aspect-ratio-based CSS styling, Desire ensured that images maintain their proportions at various screen sizes, reducing layout shifts and improving both mobile and desktop browsing experiences. The implementation was carried out using Vue.js and JavaScript, with attention to front end development best practices. This work addressed internal issue #2063, aligning the user interface with performance and accessibility considerations, and demonstrated a focused, single-feature contribution during the month.
