Developed comprehensive test coverage for the RMSNorm operator in the InfiniTensor/InfiniCore repository, focusing on improving reliability and continuous integration visibility. Leveraging C++ for operator development and Python for test tooling, the work included creating a dedicated test file, registering new tests, and building a Python-based generator to systematically cover various input shapes, data types, and memory strides. This approach enhanced regression safety by enabling earlier detection of defects across configurations and streamlined future test expansion. The modular test design and automation improved the overall quality assurance process, directly supporting business goals of increased operator robustness and maintainable testing infrastructure.
