In November 2024, Nicol Ortiz developed role-based access control for the Academic Assistance view in the sistemasases/sistema_informacion_ASES repository. Using React and JavaScript, Nicol implemented conditional route rendering so that only users with the monitor_academico role could access the view, and authorized users were directed there immediately upon login. This approach enhanced security by restricting sensitive views and improved user experience by streamlining navigation for monitors. The work focused on front end development, with careful attention to user flow and access logic. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed feature implementation.
