Worked on the ReactionMechanismGenerator/RMG-database repository to enhance packaging automation and release reliability. Developed a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions and YAML that builds the RMG-database package for all supported Python versions through a matrix-based strategy. Refactored the conda build configuration to streamline environment setup, improving maintainability and simplifying onboarding for new contributors. Implemented secure deployment practices by ensuring proper ANACONDA_TOKEN handling for automated uploads to the rmg channel, reducing manual intervention and deployment failures. Focused on broadening Python compatibility and reducing manual steps, resulting in more reliable releases and smoother downstream usage for users and maintainers.
