Worked on the KODI-Kommunen-Digital/KODI.frontend repository, focusing on front end development using React and JavaScript. Addressed a high-visibility bug affecting the homepage location dropdown, where white text appeared on a white background, hindering usability and accessibility. Resolved the issue by updating CSS classes for the dropdown option elements, applying text-black and hover:text-white to ensure clear text visibility and responsive hover feedback. This change improved user interaction and reduced support queries related to the dropdown. Maintained clear traceability through detailed commit messaging, demonstrating a methodical approach to UI consistency, accessibility, and maintainability within the project’s frontend codebase.
