Worked on maintaining and improving the opencast-admin-interface by focusing on stability and compatibility during May 2025. Addressed a critical bug by updating import paths to ensure compatibility with newer versions of DateFns and react-hotkeys-hook, preventing potential runtime issues and preserving the reliability of date handling and hotkey functionality in the admin UI. The work involved careful adjustments in JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging front end development skills with React to maintain a seamless user experience. No new features were introduced, but the updates ensured that the interface continued to function smoothly as dependencies evolved, supporting ongoing operational stability.
