Worked on the zalando-incubator/kubernetes-on-aws repository to implement Kubernetes RBAC integration and a permissions upgrade for the build-scaling-console. Focused on Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices, the work involved creating YAML-based scaffolding for ServiceAccount, ClusterRole, and ClusterRoleBinding resources. Migrated the build-scaling-console to use ClusterRole, removed namespace scoping from roles, and granted read access to nodes and statefulsets. Refactored node-related permissions to streamline access and improve security and auditability across the cluster. This feature enhanced the reliability of the build-scaling pipeline, ensuring more robust and maintainable access control within the Kubernetes environment. No bugs were fixed.
