Worked on the scheduleonce/once-ui repository to deliver an automated pull request merging feature governed by approval gates. This solution streamlined the CI/CD workflow by enabling pull requests to be automatically merged once all required approvals were in place, reducing manual intervention and accelerating integration cycles. The implementation relied on GitHub Actions and YAML to define and enforce the automation logic, ensuring merges only occurred after governance requirements were satisfied. By focusing on continuous integration and DevOps best practices, the work improved release discipline, reduced merge cycle times, and enhanced code quality by tightly coupling automation with approval-driven development processes.
