Developed and delivered a Chart Data Labels Visibility Toggle feature for the dataease/sqlbot repository, enabling users to show or hide data labels across multiple chart types to enhance visualization clarity and context. The implementation involved building a user interface toggle in Vue.js, integrating it with the chart rendering logic, and ensuring user preferences persisted across sessions. Leveraging TypeScript for type safety and maintainability, the work included updating documentation and adding tests to support the new functionality. This feature improved data comprehension for analysts, supporting faster decision-making and more actionable dashboards, while maintaining stability and compatibility across different chart types.
