Worked on the IBM/platform-services-go-sdk repository to enhance offer traceability by introducing a new feature that tracks offer creators. This involved adding a created_by_email_id field to the Offer schema, updating the Go-based unmarshalling and serialization logic to support the new attribute, and ensuring backward compatibility for existing consumers. Comprehensive tests were expanded to validate the new field’s behavior and integration, supporting improved analytics and auditing capabilities. The work demonstrated proficiency in API development, backend engineering, and Go, focusing on minimal disruption to current workflows while enabling more robust attribution and traceability for offers within the platform’s backend services.
