Developed a dynamic Branches page for the acm-ucsb/acm-ucsb repository, focusing on enhancing branch discoverability and branding through a data-driven UI. Leveraged React and TypeScript to implement reusable components for branch banners and cards, introducing a branchBannerColor property to support flexible theming. Utilized Material UI and Next.js to ensure consistent styling and efficient rendering of branch details, descriptions, and navigation links. The work established a scalable foundation for future branch-related features by modeling branch data and enabling dynamic content updates. No major bugs were reported, reflecting careful implementation and attention to maintainability throughout the development process.
