During March 2025, contributed to the UKHO/periodic-output-service repository by delivering a feature focused on standardizing key-related file naming throughout the codebase. This work involved refactoring C# code to rename all references from PermitTxtFile to KeyTxtFile and updating the corresponding physical file from Permit.txt to Key.txt, ensuring alignment between code and file system. Emphasizing code maintenance and file management, the changes improved consistency and maintainability, reducing the risk of future defects. No separate bug fixes were recorded, as the primary focus was on enhancing naming conventions to streamline onboarding and support more efficient future development within the project.
