Enhanced the overlay subsystem by decoupling initialization from startup, introducing deterministic sorting, and implementing a locking mechanism to protect overlays during user interaction. Improved map transition handling by passing prior map IDs in callbacks, enabling richer analytics and smoother UI flows. Strengthened UI security with GM lock state management and enforced restrictions on locked elements. Applied code cleanup, formatting, and refactoring to improve maintainability. Utilized Java, JavaFX, and both backend and client-side development skills to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
