Worked on enhancing TLS routing by implementing robust SNI rewrite support across the cloudfoundry/routing-release and cloudfoundry/diego-release repositories. Focused on enabling SNI-based hostname routing, the work introduced the sni_rewrite_san field, validation logic, and comprehensive unit tests to ensure correct SNI behavior in HAProxy backends when TLS is enabled. Leveraged Go and Ruby to expand test coverage, update documentation, and synchronize example configurations with new features. This approach reduced misrouting risks and improved deployment reliability by validating route mappings and registrar behavior, demonstrating a test-driven methodology and strong backend development skills in cloud infrastructure and configuration management.
January 2026 focused on enabling robust SNI rewrite in TLS routing across routing-release and Diego-release, delivering end-to-end SNI-based hostname routing and strengthening test coverage and docs. The work reduces misrouting risk, improves deployment reliability, and demonstrates strong TLS/HAProxy integration and test-driven development.
