Contributed to helix-editor/helix by updating installation documentation to guide users through OS package manager setup, clarifying onboarding and reducing support friction. This work aligned installation instructions with the project’s packaging strategy, using Markdown to provide direct links to further details and improve deployment readiness. In nix-community/home-manager, addressed configuration management by refining the Helix module’s logic to prevent unnecessary extra configuration file generation, enhancing reliability and minimizing user confusion. Leveraged Nix and system administration skills to ensure changes were traceable and aligned with project requirements. The work demonstrated careful attention to documentation clarity and robust configuration handling across both repositories.
