Worked on the ray-project/kuberay repository to enhance the CLI experience for Kubernetes users by enabling direct Ray Dashboard connectivity during job submission. Developed and integrated a new --address flag into the kubectl ray job submit command, allowing users to specify a direct Ray Dashboard URL instead of relying on port-forwarding. The implementation included input validation to ensure the address parameter was not empty, along with updates to the CLI help text and internal connection logic. This feature was delivered using Go and focused on CLI development within a Kubernetes context, providing an alternative and streamlined method for submitting Ray jobs.
