This feature preserved historical visibility by ensuring that resolved pages remained accessible for 14 days after resolution, supporting auditability and governance requirements. The technical approach included a one-hour clock skew buffer to mitigate risks of premature data cleanup across distributed hosts with drifting clocks. The work involved backend development and database management using Ruby, with RSpec testing to ensure reliability. Collaboration was demonstrated through a co-authored commit, and the changes established a robust baseline for future enhancements to retention policies.
