Joshua contributed to the OverlayPlugin/cactbot repository by expanding localization support for the Futures Rewritten Raid, focusing on Chinese and Japanese language integration. He implemented new key-value pairs for raid mechanics and in-game callouts, using TypeScript to ensure seamless internationalization (i18n) within the existing codebase. His work enhanced accessibility and onboarding for CN/JA-speaking players, reducing friction for non-English users. Joshua validated the localization workflow for future extensions, demonstrating disciplined engineering and attention to detail. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, his feature work deepened the project’s localization infrastructure and broadened its reach to a more diverse player base.
