Worked on the nrwl/nx repository to address a security vulnerability by upgrading the esbuild dependency to version 0.25.5, thereby strengthening the project’s security and build reliability. The approach involved careful dependency management, including coordinated updates to @module-federation/node and @module-federation/enhanced to ensure compatibility and support for the security patch. Utilized TypeScript and module federation techniques to validate that all builds and tests passed successfully after the upgrade, minimizing risk in continuous integration pipelines. The work focused on security patching and maintaining code health, ensuring the project remained stable and protected against known vulnerabilities throughout the update process.
