Developed a comprehensive Chess Portal for the JinOptimist/Net18Online repository, enabling users to create and view chess parties, manage games, track player ratings, and access news. The solution was architected using ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC, with a full MVC stack comprising controllers, models, and views to support robust backend and frontend functionality. To facilitate development and testing, a fake repository and dependency injection wiring were implemented, reducing reliance on external databases and streamlining iteration. The work established a scalable foundation for user engagement around chess events and rankings, with C#, HTML, and CSS used throughout the project’s interface and logic.
