Kaan Adas developed a security-focused automation enhancement for the Trendyol/baklava repository by implementing a GitHub Actions workflow designed to enforce secrets management and automate security gate checks within the CI/CD pipeline. Using YAML to define the workflow, Kaan ensured that inherited secrets are securely handled and that repository governance is improved through automated checks. The README was updated to document these new security practices, providing clear guidance for future contributors. This work addressed risk exposure by embedding security controls directly into the development process, demonstrating a focused application of CI/CD and GitHub Actions skills over a concise, targeted project period.
