Worked on the awslabs/generative-ai-cdk-constructs repository to implement a comprehensive runtime upgrade, updating all deployment artifacts from Python 3.12 to Python 3.13. This involved modifying Dockerfiles and AWS Lambda configurations to ensure compatibility with the latest Python features and security enhancements. The approach focused on maintaining deployment reliability while preparing the codebase for future development in the CDK constructs. Leveraged skills in Python development, Docker, and AWS Lambda to execute the upgrade efficiently. The work addressed ongoing maintenance needs and aligned the project with current best practices in cloud-native Python application deployment and infrastructure as code.
