Worked on the eSupportTechnology/Booking-website repository, focusing on backend development using PHP to establish a secure foundation for user authentication. Developed the initial routing scaffolding by creating placeholder authentication routes and iteratively refactored the codebase to improve maintainability and support future feature expansion. Addressed a database migration issue by stabilizing the files table migration, specifically by making the property_id field nullable and correcting an unintended foreign-key drop, which reduced deployment risk. The work combined backend development, database migration, and code refactoring skills, resulting in a more stable release process and a solid groundwork for upcoming authentication features.
