Kingmanatea developed the Banforms API for the naurffxiv/moddingway repository, delivering an end-to-end solution for managing ban appeals. Using FastAPI, Python, and SQL, they designed and implemented database models, API routes, and schema definitions to support submitting, listing, retrieving, and updating ban forms. The API features a status-based approval workflow and integrates automated unban actions upon approval, streamlining the process for administrators. By centralizing the ban appeal workflow and ensuring auditability, Kingmanatea’s work reduced manual administrative effort and improved the user experience. The project demonstrated depth in backend development, API design, and database management within a production context.
