Developed and delivered the Banforms API for the naurffxiv/moddingway repository, enabling a centralized system for managing ban appeals. The work involved designing and implementing database models, API routes, and schema definitions using Python, FastAPI, and SQL. The API supports submitting, listing, retrieving, and updating ban forms, incorporating a status-based approval workflow that automates the unban process upon approval. This approach reduced manual administrative tasks and improved auditability by centralizing appeal records. The feature enhanced user experience by streamlining the ban appeal process, ensuring that all actions are traceable and efficiently managed within a single backend system.
