Worked on the rapidfort/community-images repository to enhance the security and reliability of its CI/CD pipeline. Focused on implementing Docker credential management within GitHub Actions using YAML, the work introduced secure handling of image build and deployment credentials while removing unused secrets to reduce the attack surface. This approach aligned with security best practices and streamlined ongoing maintenance, resulting in more stable and auditable automated deployments. By applying DevOps principles and leveraging CI/CD automation, the changes reduced the risk of credential exposure, improved build reliability, and enabled faster, more confident release cycles for container images in a production environment.
