Worked on the AxonFramework/AxonFramework repository to deliver a major infrastructure upgrade focused on scheduling reliability and maintainability. Upgraded the db-scheduler to version 16.2.0 and migrated the codebase to the new TaskDescriptor API, replacing deprecated components and adopting the updated builder pattern for task instances. This migration aligned the scheduling flow with the latest db-scheduler capabilities and positioned the project for future enhancements in task orchestration. The work involved extensive API integration, backend development, and Java refactoring, emphasizing clean upgrade practices and careful handling of deprecations. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
