
Developed and delivered a Yandex Alice traffic detection feature for the ntop/nDPI repository, enabling accurate identification of Yandex Alice network traffic within analytics workflows. The work involved introducing a new protocol ID and implementing rule-based content matching to distinguish Yandex Alice from other protocols. Documentation, protocol IDs, and content matching configurations were updated to ensure traceability and maintainability. This enhancement improved network visibility, supporting better monitoring and policy enforcement for virtual assistant traffic. The project demonstrated proficiency in C programming, network protocol analysis, and traffic identification, with all changes tracked at the commit level to support robust documentation and review processes.
