During April 2025, Klimermana focused on strengthening dependency management for the nerfstudio-project/nerfstudio repository by delivering a Protobuf Dependency Compatibility Upgrade. They updated the pyproject.toml configuration, expanding the protobuf version constraint to allow up to version 5 while maintaining necessary exclusions. This change, implemented using TOML and leveraging expertise in dependency management, enabled the project to adopt newer protobuf features and libraries, reducing future integration risks.
