In May 2025, Iara Makomarea enhanced the UoaWDCC/rainbow-engineering repository by developing a new About Us section for the homepage, designed to communicate the organization’s mission and foster community engagement. Using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, Iara implemented accessible and user-friendly styling refinements, ensuring the section met modern UX standards. Additionally, Iara scaffolded a gallery placeholder to support future visual storytelling, laying groundwork for richer content integration. The work was carefully tracked through detailed commit references, providing clear traceability. While the contribution focused on a single feature, it established a solid foundation for future growth and improved user trust.
