Worked on the ktorio/ktor repository to deliver deployment-configuration-based protocol readiness, focusing on enabling HTTP/2 and H2C support within the Netty engine. Developed a system that allows production deployments to toggle modern transport protocols through configuration, minimizing the need for code changes and reducing operational risk. The implementation introduced new configuration flags, enableHttp2 and enableH2c, centralizing protocol management for greater deployment agility. Utilized Kotlin for backend development and network configuration, ensuring that protocol activation could be managed efficiently at deployment time. This work enhanced the flexibility and maintainability of network protocol support in the ktorio/ktor codebase.
