During May 2025, XRRKR worked on the Energinet-DataHub/greenforce-frontend repository, delivering a feature that introduced signature-based authentication for the Electricity Market API within the backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer. Leveraging C#, ASP.NET Core, and API integration skills, XRRKR updated the AuthorizedHttpClientFactory to support signature-authenticated clients and implemented MeteringPointWipAsync in ElectricityMarketClient_V1. This approach enabled MeteringPointNode to securely fetch metering point data using the new authentication method. The work enhanced the security and reliability of frontend API consumption, laying a foundation for scalable, maintainable integration with external APIs. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period.
