Worked on embedded systems and network programming using C, focusing on performance and maintainability improvements across LionsOS and SDDf repositories. Delivered a DHCP optimization by disabling Address Conflict Detection in QEMU environments, leveraging the lwIP stack to streamline DHCP negotiation in isolated networks and accelerate VM provisioning. In LionsOS, refactored the firewall module to adopt microkit message register functions, reducing boilerplate and standardizing register access for future scalability. Maintained consistent commit practices and cross-repository alignment, emphasizing code clarity and maintainability. The work addressed targeted performance bottlenecks and improved the foundation for ongoing development in embedded and networked environments.
