Kun Jeong developed a comprehensive negative test suite for the p4lang/p4c repository, focusing on enhancing compiler error handling validation. By adding 248 targeted tests to the p4_16_errors suite, Kun systematically expanded coverage for atypical error conditions, ensuring that the P4C compiler more reliably detects and reports issues. This work leveraged expertise in compiler testing, error handling, and the P4 language, with a strong emphasis on negative testing methodologies. The expanded suite improved the quality of error messages and enabled earlier regression detection in continuous integration, contributing to more reliable releases and reducing debugging time for P4C users.
