Worked on the OWASP-BLT/BLT repository to enhance backend security and stability by implementing environment-based SECRET_KEY management across production, CI, and test environments. Leveraged Python and Django to enforce secure secret handling, reducing the risk of exposed credentials. Addressed production caching issues by removing duplicate configurations, ensuring consistent and reliable cache behavior for improved runtime performance. Applied pre-commit hygiene to raise code quality and maintain consistency across the codebase. Utilized Docker and CI/CD practices to streamline deployment and testing workflows. These efforts improved maintainability, security, and operational reliability for future deployments across multiple environments and development stages.
