Worked on stabilizing the cross-platform tray UI for the 2dust/v2rayN repository, focusing on improving user experience in multi-server environments. Addressed a Linux-specific issue by implementing a fix that locks the tray tooltip text to the application name, preventing Linux desktop environments from misidentifying server changes as changes to the application’s identity. This solution maintained the original server-detail display for non-Linux platforms, ensuring consistent behavior across systems. The work involved C#, desktop application development, and Linux system integration, aligning with issue #9709 to reduce user confusion and support needs while laying groundwork for future cross-platform enhancements and troubleshooting.
