Delivered two high-impact features that improve automation, reliability, and cost control in task orchestration and DAG lifecycle management: 1) Scheduler Enhancements and TAP Task Management: Expanded the SDK scheduler to support TAP task management with endpoint revisions and execution payment settlements. Updated identifiers, transaction builders, types, and event parsing to improve alignment and efficiency of scheduled tasks; enhanced metadata for Nexus objects; extended CLI TAP/tool commands. These changes enable more reliable TAP task scheduling, better recovery scenarios, and clearer instrumentation via changelogs and metadata. 2) Abort expired DAG executions via ToolGas: Added a new command dag abort-expired-execution to derive eligible ToolGas candidates and submit abort transactions for expired DAG executions. Implemented supporting data structures and functions to enable a robust abort workflow and proper handling of execution states. This work directly addresses lifecycle reliability and safety for long-running DAG tasks (references issue #797). Overall impact: improved automation, reliability, and governance of scheduled and DAG-based tasks, reducing manual intervention, enabling safer aborts, and providing clearer cost settlement paths. This aligns with business goals of predictable task throughput and cost control.
