Lakshmipriya Purushan enabled secure WebPA communications in the rdkcentral/tr69hostif repository by implementing HTTPS support for webpa.rdkcentral.com. This work involved updating the partner_default JSON configuration to enforce encrypted data transmission, thereby reducing the risk of eavesdropping and tampering. Using JSON configuration management and focusing on secure networking protocols, Lakshmipriya ensured that the system aligned with current security best practices while maintaining overall stability. The changes were carefully validated to minimize deployment impact and were fully traceable to the RDKVREFPLT-4470 requirement. This targeted feature improved security posture without introducing bugs or disrupting existing workflows.
