Worked on stabilizing the development environment for the sparcs-kaist/students repository, focusing on improving onboarding and reducing setup inconsistencies. Addressed development database reliability by renaming the Docker Compose service to students_db and pinning the MySQL image to version 8.0.36-debian, ensuring consistent local development experiences. Implemented platform compatibility fixes within the Docker-based stack to support cross-operating system development, which helped streamline onboarding and accelerate feature iteration. Utilized DevOps practices and Docker, with configuration managed in YAML, to deliver these improvements. The work emphasized clarity and reliability in the development workflow, resulting in a more robust and accessible environment for contributors.
