Worked on mozilla/uniffi-rs and n0-computer/iroh, focusing on Rust-based distributed systems and networking. Developed a command-line tool for uniffi-rs that automates binding generation and execution, streamlining developer workflows and improving CI automation. Addressed documentation build conflicts by refining build system configuration, enhancing documentation reliability. For iroh, implemented a passive mode for mDNS discovery, allowing nodes to listen for peer advertisements without broadcasting their own presence. This change, achieved through updates to the API and network behavior, reduced unnecessary network traffic and improved peer discovery efficiency. Demonstrated depth in Rust programming, build system configuration, and scalable network protocol design.
